Tasting Notes: Kirin has a smooth, rich flavor. Typically, 100% malt beer delivers a strong and heavy taste, but, when brewed only from the first wort, a smooth, rich flavor ensues. This flavor is the pure flavor of the malt. The foam top is a light frozen topping made of beer that keeps the draft nice ‘n cold for about 30 minutes. The topping looks a little like ice cream – but it’s actually beer and tastes like beer.
More Info: You can only find Kirin Frozen Draft in one spot in the continental U.S. - the Japan Pavilion at Epcot. (It’s also sold in Honolulu).

More Info: 5% ABV; Unlike other beers, Kirin uses only the first press of the wort, hence "Ichiban" - which means first as well as best in Japanese.Their First Press process, or ichiban shibori method in Japanese, brews beer to its purest state for the best flavor, extracting only the most flavorful of the finest ingredients.

More Info: Rich, sweet and aromatic, often served as an aperitif. The plum flavor used for this product is based on "Ume", a special plum cultivated in Japan which is very tart in flavor. It is made from premium white wine with natural plum flavor.
